POP Launches in Mexico City

​The POP Movement was launched, in partnership with Cinema Planeta, in México City on Earth Day, April 22, 2016.  In  Señor, Juan Diaz de la Torre's, Secretary-General and President Sindicato Nacional de Trabajadores de la Educación (SNTE) presence, Dr. R.K. Pachauri, Chief Mentor addressed teachers from across the country at México City’s Centro Cultural del México Contemporaneo.  As, many as 800 teachers were physically present in the audience, and 100,000 watched the address live through the SNTE’s exclusive online channel.
